About BPDM Structural Engineers
BPDM is a structural engineering practice established in 2012 in the UK. Based in London, BPDM provides structural engineering advice to clients in London and the South East. With over 15 years' experience, our structural engineers are able to quickly assess the nature of your walls, determine if any cracks present are an issue and design any necessary structural repairs or alterations to suit your new layout.
Our Process
From our initial telephone consultation we will determine the next steps required. Our visit to your property will come next. A visual survey is conducted to establish the load bearing nature of your walls. If any intrusive investigation is necessary we will let you know. If your walls are found to be non load bearing we can provide a report to demonstrate this. If your walls are found to be load bearing we can provide a structural solution that allows the walls to be removed. The latter is only possible if certain conditions are met.
Property Visit
We will visit your property to carry out a visual survey. If any intrusive investigation is required to verify any building details we need to see you will need to have your builder present to do this.
Structural Calculations and Design of Structural Alterations
If any walls we have inspected are found to be structural walls and you would like to have them removed we will see if this is possible.

Report
Our structural inspection report will explain why the wall in question is not structural. The advice presented can be used to inform your property Freeholder of this.
